Secure materials supply
We build with soil, gravel and stone, but never on sand. Sand, gravel and rock are the oldest building materials on earth, and in our modern society they are indispensable. These materials are needed to build roads and buildings, such as hospitals, schools, shopping centres and apartment blocks, to name just a few examples.
These natural resources are the key to the future of our multi-faceted group of companies. They are the natural raw materials that our success is built on – and which we use to build for our customers.
If, like us here in Allgäu, you’re surrounded by nature every day, you’ll be aware of the responsibility we all have to our environment. That’s why the efficient use of natural resources and the active protection of the environment are a part of our corporate philosophy.
We ensure a plentiful supply of high-quality sand, gravel and stone from the local region. To do this we need the right sources, in close proximity to the customer. To avoid unnecessary transportation on the one hand, and to guarantee fast, reliable delivery to local construction sites on the other.
Once the building materials have been excavated, we return the area to the wild in the best interests of the environment and allow nature to reclaim its own. Former excavation sites are transformed into valuable biotopes, creating habitats for rare plant and animal species.
In this way, we ensure that necessary encroachment on nature is as environmentally compatible as possible.
For us and for future generations.
